SSS30 - What If Reality Isn't Real

What if reality is an ever-changing, liquid reflection of your energy, thoughts, and focus? Scientists tell us we're 99.9999999% empty space. Over time, mountains come and go like waves. We die and don't know where we go. This all sounds like fantasy, but this is the world we live in every day. And it makes you wonder… what if your limitations aren't real?

Journaling Questions: First, have you had experiences that make you wonder if we're living in a simulation? Or that life is way less solid than it seems? More fluid and magical. Write down whatever comes to mind.

And second, what if we are living in a simulation? How does that make you feel? What would you do differently? How would you approach life differently?

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

How to listen:
~ Find a quiet space
~ Have pen and journal ready
~ Close your eyes, settle in and listen deeply
~ Write freely when the question comes. No filtering.

If this resonated with you, share it with someone else who needs to hear it.

SSS31 - Trust Manifesto

This session is different. It starts with a trust manifesto. Repeat the lines silently as you listen. You are trustworthy. You build trust breath by breath, action by action. Trust is built in those moments when you feel anxious or weak and step forward anyway. Your state doesn't matter. Trust is built one small courageous action at a time.

Journaling Questions: First, write about an area where you already have enormous trust. Where your confidence is off the charts. Describe what you trust and why.

Second, think of an area where trust is low. Where you experience doubt, fear, or unrealized potential. And just feel: it's okay.

Third, here's the twist. Consider that same low-trust area. Write down all the ways you DO display enormous trust there. Your persistence. Your courage. The energy you put in. How far you've come. How much you've grown.

Discover the truth of how much trust you actually have in this area. Feel these realizations. Maybe a new experience in this area is closer than you realize.

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

How to listen:

Journaling Questions: How would it feel for you to have a clear, meaningful, purpose-driven mission for your life? How would you know that you have one? What would it be like?
SSS29 - Fear is Evidence of Progress

Things get hard and discouraging right when you're about to make real change. The fear wouldn't be screaming so loud if change wasn't about to happen. The fear's job is to make sure nothing changes. But when you're overwhelmed with fear and negativity, that's a sign you're about to make real progress. Just keep going.

Journaling Questions: First, write down the negative thoughts and emotions that keep showing up when things get hard. The persistent ones you always return to.

Second, what could you do (even if scared) that would move your energy forward and open doors? Actions that, if you did them, things couldn't stay the same.

Third, write positive "what if" statements as the opposite of your negative beliefs. "I feel anxiety" becomes "What if I felt peace?" Don't overthink it. One "what if" for each negative thought.

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

SSS32 - Pausing for Gratitude

You live in ridiculous abundance, but often you ignore it. This abundance is everywhere you look, all day, every day. How often do you pause to see it and let it in? Say thank you for what you have, pay it forward, and live that attitude of “thank you”.

Journaling Question: Write down ten things that you're grateful for from the last 24 hours. This will probably be relatively easy to do so feel free to go beyond ten. And if you’re in a negative headspace and are struggling to find ten things, think about things and people that you take for granted.

Everything you write, begin with a phrase like: "I'm so grateful for" or "I'm so blessed to have" or "Thank you for." As you write, you might feel more love and abundance. Let yourself fill up with gratitude. Watch what happens just by turning your attention to what you have.

Journaling Question: What is the hardest, scariest, or most intimidating thing that you could do today, which could propel you towards an important dream? Brainstorm and write down many things. Then circle the one that freaks you out the most. After that, decide what kind of person you want to be in your lifetime: one who is led by fear or one who is led by courage. Write down your choice.

First, what do you regret not changing or not doing in 2025?
Second, what do you regret continuing to do in 2025?

Fourth, what are the negative stories you tell yourself because of these regrets?
And fifth, what do these regrets tell you about what really matters to you?

SSS34 - When You Have to Let Go

When unexpected challenges hit and you've done everything you can do, there's only one thing left: surrender. "Surrender everything to God, no matter what." Or to life, the universe, the great flow. In that surrender, there's a spiritual experience available to you.

Apologies, this episode is published two days late due to the health emergency I mention in the audio.

Journaling Question: If you have a situation in your life right now where there's something outside of your control, outside of your current understanding, you've got a choice. You can not trust and freak out, or you can trust and flow.

Think of one of these situations where you know you have to let go… What would you most love to hear right now that puts you back into that experience of trust and flow? Discover what that message is to yourself.

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

SSS27 - Strength of Spirit

Your spirit can face any feeling, any thought, any life situation. It thrives in the face of challenge. When everything else feels drained, your spirit never gets discouraged. The gift in life's hardest times is that they return you to your spirit. And once you're there, it's a beautiful place to be.

Journaling Questions:

First, bring your attention to your spirit. Breathe. Describe your experience.

Second, think of times when your strength of spirit was strong. Where you surprised yourself with how you responded to challenge. Maybe, looking back, it feels like the challenge and triumph was part of your destiny. A key part of your story. Where you felt like "Yes, this is who I am." What were you able to do in the face of these challenges? What role did your spirit play?

And third, what do you want to remind yourself of when you are facing a great challenge? What do you want to remind yourself of in terms of your strength of spirit in those moments? What does your spirit want to say to you?

Journaling Questions: First, write down a persistent problem in your life. Something that's been there for months or years.

Second, is there a deeper problem that must be solved first? What belief or viewpoint might be holding that problem in place? What story are you telling about yourself or what's possible that keeps this stuck?

SSS28 - The Power of Questions

Quest and question both come from the same Latin root: quaerere, "to seek." Questions are at the core of transformation. You don't even have to find the answers. Just writing down questions lifts your energy. Opens doors in your mind, your heart, your soul.

Journaling Questions: First, just start asking questions. Take five or ten minutes. Ask questions about your life. About the world. Come at it with: What are you struggling with? What would you like to understand about it? What would you like to change? What would you like to create? What questions do you have about the hardest parts of your life? And the best parts of your life? Just ask questions and be open.

And second, notice what happens during the process of writing down questions. What are you experiencing? How do you feel? Where is the process taking you? More energy or less energy? More clarity or less clarity? More engaged or less engaged?

Keep in mind that if any answers to your questions start to come, go ahead and write them down. But there’s no pressure to do that. You're not seeking any specific result from asking these questions. You're not trying to fix anything. You’re just asking and noticing. More engaged or less engaged?

SSS36 - Adventure is Peace

Life is an adventure whether you want it to be or not. There's always more unknown than known, and there's always risk in being alive. But there are two kinds of adventures: the inner adventure of discovering who you are and what you're here to do, and the outer adventure of bringing that into the world. The right inner adventure leads to the right outer adventures.

Journaling Question: If you saw your life as the adventure that it truly is, if you stopped trying to make everything safe and super predictable, if you admitted that life is risky AND exciting… what would that feel like? How might you approach your days differently? How would you solve problems differently? What would change if you embraced the adventure instead of denying it?

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

How to listen:
~ Find a quiet space
~ Have pen and journal ready
~ Close your eyes, settle in and listen deeply
~ Write freely when the question comes. No filtering.

If this resonated with you, share it with someone else who needs to hear it.

Enjoy the ride!

SSS37 - Listen Anyway

60% of the benefits of tuning in to your deeper self come from just making the time and space to listen. Even if you hear nothing. Because it shows your inner guidance that you're committed. When you were a child, you lived by this guidance. You followed what inspired you, what felt fun. But you may have ignored it for so long that the connection has atrophied. Time to open it back up.

Journaling Question: Make space right now. Five or ten minutes. Remove distractions. And listen. What is your guide inside wanting to tell you? And if you hear nothing, just enjoy the stillness.

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

How to listen:

SSS11 - What Life Wants

Most of us are trying to figure out what we want from life. But we're starting in the wrong place. There are two other questions that must be answered first. Then what you want becomes obvious.

Journaling Questions: First, think of a time when you felt most alive. Most yourself. When you thought, "Yes, this is who I am. This is my place." Who were you in that moment? How were you being? Second, what does life want from you? What's calling you that you keep ignoring? That if you get to the end of your life and you don't at least try it, it's going to be a regret? Answer these, and you’ll figure out what you really want.

SSS38 - Your Soul Made Plans

What if your soul has rearranged your life and set up this exact period perfectly? Sometimes it looks positive, like a sabbatical or new opportunity. Sometimes there are challenges, like an injury forcing you to slow down. Either way, what if this is your soul making plans and it's done it perfectly? You can't force life-changing moments to happen before their time. But you can be ready for them.

Journaling Question: First, write down the different ingredients making up your reality right now. The situations, circumstances, and things you're dealing with. Both the ones that feel positive and the ones that feel negative or challenging.

Second, look at each ingredient from this perspective: what if your soul planned this out in its infinite wisdom to give you exactly what you need and prepare you for what's coming next? How is each ingredient perfect and required for what you're really meant to do?

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

SSS20 - Soulfulness Over Mindfulness

Your soul experiences the world through your body, through your senses. There are moments that bring it to the surface effortlessly. But life gets busy and distracting, and your soul is left waiting for an invitation. What if the stuck areas in your life are stuck because you've been approaching them with no regard for your soul?

Journaling Questions: First, what are those moments, places, or experiences that make your soul smile? Things that bring your soul to the surface effortlessly. Where you feel "This delights me. I understand this. My soul feels at home here." Second, how could you invite your soul to be a bigger participant in your daily life? What would that invitation look like? And third, think of an area of your life that feels stuck or disconnected. What if the deeper problem is a lack of soul or misalignment with your soul in this area? What are you seeing?

I don't know if you're creating the future or predicting it when you do deep visioning journaling work like today’s session. Maybe they're the same thing. Let go. Visit the future in one year and describe what you see. There is magic in this process. This is the third and final part of the series to wrap up 2025 and welcome 2026.

Journaling Question: Imagine it's December 31st, 2026 and write a journal entry from your future. First, describe where you are in that moment. Who's around you? What’s being said? How are you feeling? Second, look back on your year and describe the positive things that happened. Consider what you would most love to be saying “thank you” for at the end of next year. The blessings, achievements, changes, solutions to persistent problems. Be playful. Be bold. Let the picture paint itself and describe what you see, getting into the sensory details. Start by writing “December 31st, 2026” at the top of the page.

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

How to listen:

SSS22 - What Went Right in 2025

Your brain is wired to forget the good stuff and remember the problems. So you have to make intentional time to remember what went right this year. This creates a foundation of appreciation for stepping into 2026. And it reaffirms that you are a creator in your life.

Journaling Questions: First, scroll through your photos from 2025. What did you forget? What went right that you'd completely forgotten about? What were your favorite moments, achievements, and blessings?
Second, what challenge did you face this year that you turned around? Where did you go from weakness to strength? From drain to something you feel excited or empowered about?
Third, what did you start this year and keep doing? Something you'd been procrastinating on or were afraid to do. What positive change did you implement that deserves acknowledgement?
And fourth, where were the moments you felt like "Yes, this was me"? Where you felt centered, aligned, right in yourself. Where the work felt right, or how you showed up felt right. Find those moments.

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

What if that thing you think you're bad at isn't true? What if you're already good at it in a different context, and you just haven't been seeing it?

Journaling Question: What's something you think you're bad at? Where are you actually good at that, or something like it, in another part of your life? And what does that show you? What becomes possible when you stop trying to fix a weakness and start seeing a strength you already have?

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

How to listen:
~ Find a quiet space
~ Have pen and journal ready
~ Close your eyes, settle in and listen deeply
~ Write freely when the question comes. No filtering.

If this resonated with you, share it with someone else who needs to hear it.

SSS33 - Distraction vs. Purpose

If you could see the accumulated hours, days, weeks you've spent scrolling and checking and watching, it would horrify you. But here's what most people miss: you don't know what you're meant to create until you stop distracting yourself from it.

Journaling Question: First, write down your favorite distractions. Be honest. What do you reach for when you feel bored or anxious?

Second, how many hours per week do you think you spend on them? Really add it up.

Third, imagine taking even half of that time and pouring it into something that matters to your soul. A project. A relationship. Your body. Your joy. What could that look like in a year? What would you have built? How much closer would you be to the people you love? How much stronger and more confident would you feel?

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.

Journaling Questions: First: What's an area of your life where you've got a strong negative story running? Just let it out. Get it on the page. Second: What if that story isn't true? What if there are glimpses of the opposite? Third: What if this negative story is just setting things up for something amazing? What could that be?

SSS19 - Know Yourself or Be Controlled

You don't realize how indoctrinated you are. If you don't know who you are, what matters to you, and what your vision is, you'll be trained into being obedient, a consumer, a cog in the machine. Sovereignty starts with self-understanding.

Journaling Questions: Look at two areas of your life: your work time and your free time. First, list a few things in each area that you spend a lot of your time doing or thinking about, that you know are not part of your life's vision. Things that are not contributing to your soul's success. Second, what are a few things you'd rather be doing or thinking about instead? What would make your soul sing? Third, sit in that gap and describe how it feels.

SSS21 - Screens Sabotage Soul

VysionQuest isn't about teaching you more information. It's about helping you reconnect with the deepest part of you and access the wisdom already inside. Audio is more powerful for this than video. Way more powerful. Here's why.

Journaling Questions: First, you've just been listening without looking at a screen. Describe your inner experience right now, whatever it is. What's going on inside of you? What's different about receiving something this way versus watching a video? Second, what could be possible if you spent less time on screens? If you spent less time exposed to external messages, and more time exposed to internal messages? How might that help you?

Silent Sunrise Sessions are short guided meditations and journaling questions to help you reconnect with your deeper wisdom and find clarity for your life.
